The Lassen Park Foundation, in partnership with the Tehama Mentoring program, recently helped five young women to participate in a ranger-led backpacking trip through Lassen Volcanic National Park. As first time backpackers, the group experienced the personal accomplishment of completing a trek from Juniper Lake to Horseshoe Lake, with stops at Snag Lake and Cinder Cone.
