Foundation Supports Youth Group’s First Time Wilderness Backpacking Experience
Posted August 12, 2014The Lassen Park Foundation, in partnership with the Tehama Mentoring program, recently helped five young women to participate in a ranger-led backpacking trip through Lassen Volcanic National Park. As first time backpackers, the group experienced the personal accomplishment of completing a trek from Juniper Lake to Horseshoe Lake, with stops at Snag Lake and Cinder Cone.
